This stimulating & experiential day is suitable for student & qualified Counsellors, Supervisors, Ministers & Church Leaders, Pastoral & Youth Workers … in fact, anyone involved in caring for others.
Sue is a trained counsellor & supervisor specialising in Bereavement & Loss. She has worked in Havens Hospices and has set up and runs a community bereavement service in Southend. Sue also supervises at Haven House Hospice as well as teams caring for families in the community including the Macmillan Team at Southend Hospital.
The day will include:
*An introduction to bereavement and loss
*Self-awareness and grief
*Theories & myths around death and the grieving process
*Insightful Stories of grief and mourning
As this is a sensitive subject, the material may be unsuitable for those recently bereaved.
