The West Suffolk Hospital Chaplaincy works very closely with maternity services at the hospital and is aware that sometimes mums and dads have to stay in hospital unexpectedly so do not have any provisions with them.
With this is mind, the chaplaincy would welcome any contributions for “gift bags” for the parents and the baby when s/he arrives. Unopened baby wipes, toothbrushes and travel-size toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, tissues etc. would be very much appreciated. It would also be wonderful to receive soft toys, which should be new, conform to safety regulations and be sealed in clear plastic bags please.
Items – preferably in a clear plastic bag- can be handed in to the chaplaincy offices in the hospital chapel during normal working hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) or phone the chaplaincy on the number below to make arrangements.
If you would like more information then please contact Rev Stephen Griffiths on 01284 712704 or email@example.com
Very many thanks!
