Have you heard of Home for Good?

Foster care and Adoption transforms lives

Home for Good is a Christian charity set up in response to the urgent/constant need for more foster carers and adopters. They believe that the Church is ideally placed to help meet this need- both in terms of helping to find families who could step forward to foster and in terms or providing an excellent community of support to wrap around these families.

Home for Good run an annual campaign called Adoption Sunday, which Churches can take part in on/around the first Sunday in November.

Adoption Sunday 2018 is Home for Good’s sixth year of producing resources that it hopes will help churches across the UK to profile adoption and fostering in their church services.  Marking Adoption Sunday is an opportunity for the Church to celebrate our adoption into God’s family, to pray for vulnerable children in our nations, and to stand with families who foster and adopt in our communities.
