Could you spend one night outside so others don’t have to? Challenge yourself and help end youth homelessness.
The Benjamin Foundation is bringing hope, opportunity, stability and independence to children, young people and families experiencing challenges in Norfolk and Suffolk. In particular, the Foundation is working hard to prevent youth homelessness; helping families to build stronger relationships, offering emotional well-being support and providing positive activities for young people with limited opportunities.
On Friday 1 November, The Benjamin Trust will be hosting Ipswich Sleep Out and you can be part of it!
You can take part as an individual or in a group with friends or colleagues and you can make your efforts go further by fundraising and gaining sponsorship for your challenge.
Of course, Sleep Out is not the same as the real hardship faced by rough sleepers but it does give those participating the opportunity to see for themselves what it might feel like to be homeless.
The event is also a great way to build awareness of the issue of homelessness in our region, whilst raising much-needed funds, which are used to deliver the work done by The Benjamin Foundation to tackle youth homelessness in Norfolk and Suffolk.
