Schoolchildren set to make TV debut onboard Noah’s Ark

This week dozens of excited schoolchildren climbed the gangplank onto a replica of the ark moored in Ipswich to be filmed for BBC’s Songs of Praise.

Headteacher, from St Margaret’s Church Of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, Jo Kidby said: “We were delighted to be invited to bring some of our Year 4 pupils onboard Noah’s Ark. We hope the children’s visit to Noah’s Ark will have brought to life some of the stories they have learnt about through the hands-on activities and artefacts onboard.  This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the children are very excited about being on TV on Songs of Praise.”

The episode of BBC’s Songs of Praise is due to be broadcast before Christmas.
