Crown Him 2020 – Saturday 18th January


The annual Crown Him event in Ipswich is due to take place on Saturday 18th January. Here is what you can expect.

If you ever needed a local event to start the year inspiring you in your walk of faith, then ‘Crown Him’ is an evening to set aside any other plans and get out your door to attend! Always an upbeat evening, it is a mix of contemporary worship, features on local projects that seek to make a difference in the community, and other inspirational presentation.

This year’s speaker is Revd Rhiannon King, Archdeacon of Ipswich, and Director of the ‘Inspiring Ipswich’ project.

One of the features of ‘Crown Him’ is the exhibition of projects. With over 15 stands, you can find out more about initiatives that are working in the town addressing a range of social and spiritual needs. The exhibition is open from 6.30pm and offers an opportunity to find out more and maybe feel inspired to support and get involved.

Crown Him is at Colchester Road Baptist Church, with car parking available in Northgate High School opposite (please note that gates will be closed from 10pm)
