Family charity hits the headlines


Ipswich Christian charity Family First have played an instrumental part in helping a local mum ‘turn her life around’.

Featured in the Ipswich Star, Family First Liaison Officer Michelle Jones worked with Josephine Kalagira following an accident that affected her life.

Family First are a volunteer based Christian charity in Ipswich who seek to increase parents and carers confidence, social support networks and mental well-being. They do not receive any finance from statutory bodies and are currently supported through grant funding.

Their vision is to see families that are resilient, thriving and happy

Could you help support this local charity as they seek to make a positive impact in the local community?

£100 will contribute towards visiting a family over an average month

£180 would enable running a parenting course for 6 weeks for up to 15 parents

£500 will contribute towards visiting a family for 6 months

£1000 will contribute to the funds required to support one family for a year
