African Adventure is looking for volunteers

African Adventure is a schools residential programme that strives to educate children about Africa, help them to grow as people and promote the light of Jesus in their lives. African Adventure is looking for willing volunteers to serve on its Children’s Project activity team this summer.

The season starts on Wednesday 29 April, excluding normal school holidays, and ends on 2 October and the team would welcome help from volunteers for whatever time they feel they can offer.

Please be aware that because of the nature of the work, everyone on the team will need to complete a DBS as well undergoing an online safeguarding course. African Adventure would also like an opportunity to meet people before they join the team.

Some of the upcoming days include;

Saturday 14 March – Maintenance Day @ Sizewell Hall to prepare the site ready for the season ahead.

Monday 23 – Tuesday 24 March – Activity Team training days @ Sizewell Hall (including an overnight stay)

Saturday 25 April – Maintenance Day @ Sizewell Hall

If you think you might like to be a part of the African Adventure experience and would like to arrange a meet-up for more information, then please email or call Josh on:[email protected] or 01473 216712
