Community Action Suffolk are working with a number of partners, including Suffolk County Council, to connect established and new community groups to those who need their help at this current time. They are urging groups to register with them.

There are so many stories of people helping the most vulnerable and isolated during the current crisis, whether it be cards posted through neighbour’s doors, to community groups being created on Facebook, to established groups and organisations already with a heart for their community. Community Action Suffolk are urging people to register their support and availability so that they can map the public response and signpost those who need help to the most nearby and appropriate people.

CAS have also produced a wealth of guidance and resources for those wanting to greater mobilise the help they can offer, or for the creation of new groups. You can find these here.
