Selig Suffolk Trust have been successful in securing planning permission to turn the ex Queens Head pub in the centre of Ipswich in to their centre for the Ipswich Winter Night Shelter and Hope in to Action projects.
Julia Hancock, Charity Manager of the Selig Suffolk Trust says, “Thank you to everyone who prayed for the Planning Committee meeting today. Our request was approved!”
“Please give thanks that we now have a new home for our work. This building will provide a single site for our winter night shelter, office spaces for our staff and places for our staff to meet with guests from the shelter and tenants from our Hope into Action homes.”
“We are excited and encouraged – we hope that you are too!”
“Please keep us in your prayers as we liaise with the press during the rest of the week. And please pray for us as we raise funds and move forward with plans to refurbish the building. It has been empty for a while and we need to bring it back to life again – full of God’s presence.”
