Bungay Benefice is looking for a Children’s & Youth Leader (CYL) to be part of its Lightwave Hub. The vision of the Hub is to bring the Light, Life and Hope of Jesus to children and young people in Bungay and beyond.
The team at Bungay Hub is passionate about the church ‘Growing Younger’ and wants to see children and young people coming to faith and growing as followers of Jesus. It does this through a combination of outreach, schools work, discipleship groups and an all-age Sunday gathering.
Revd Edward Land, Associate Minister of the Lightwave Rural Hub in Bungay, explains, “We are looking for someone who is first and foremost a committed follower of Jesus, with a desire to join in with the life of the Hub here in Bungay, and to take on and extend the work already happening with children and young people.
We have a big vision and want to build upon the discipleship pathways that we have already created in this area for children and young people to know the light, life and hope of Jesus. You will be joining a supportive team who will encourage you in bringing your giftings, ideas and experience to the role.”
The role is part time (17.5 hours a week) worked flexibly Monday to Sunday.
For an informal conversation about the role, please get in contact with Edward Land on 07400 033746.
