On Saturday 5 July 10am -12.30pm (doors open 09.30) at Witard Road Baptist Church, Witard Road, Norwich, NR7 9XD, national Christian disability charity, Through the Roof, will be hosting a morning to share ideas, solutions and free resources to enable churches to be more fully inclusive of anyone with a disability.
One of the key speakers will be Bob Hamilton, a Pioneer Developer from Ipswich, talking about a new ministry, WAVE Church, for people with additional needs. Bob has also been involved in other projects, including Safe Habour, an accessible church that loves and serves those in Ipswich who have multiple and complex needs. Others are coming from Cambridgeshire and Essex too – so it’s open to the whole region.
There will be an exploration of the ABC journey: from Access to Belonging to Commission, an opportunity to hear personal experiences, and to encourage and inspire one another to create a “welcome culture” for those with disabilities.
