Sizewell Hall is currently leased from the Ogilvie family, but the opportunity has arisen to purchase the property outright. This would secure Sizewell Hall as a Christian Conference Centre for generations to come.
For many years, Sizewell Hall Christian Conference Centre has been a place where Churches and families all over East Anglia meet together to enjoy a place for worship, fellowship and renewal on the coast.
Owning the site would mean:
- Long-term stability and freedom to plan for the future, beyond the remaining lease
- Better stewardship of the facilities and grounds
- Confidence that this unique place will remain dedicated to Christian ministry and service
- Young People enjoy the Camp facilities learning about God in a fun and safe environment.
“We believe God has called us to step out in faith – to ensure that Sizewell Hall continues to be a home for churches, youth groups, and Christian ministries seeking to meet with Him by the sea.
We are really excited about the impact upon the Christian community in East Anglia that this proposition has and in 2025 we had over 4500 people attend the Hall from Churches or individuals attending Conferences or Camps. There will be many more who will have been indirectly blessed from the interactions of those who have.
Timescales and current position: The Landlords have agreed to sell Sizewell Hall to the Trustees if they can raise £1.2 million by the end of 2026.
We have been so blessed to have £759,000 donated by the end of September from Churches, Individuals and Trusts and as we near the final 3 months we are trusting that God will provide what is needed.
Please pray for this project and if you are able to help financially or share this article with others, the Trustees of Sizewell Hall would be so appreciative so that many more families over the generations to come can be equally blessed as the thousands that have visited over the past 50 years
